Show time - 8:00pm Doors open at 7:00pm David Grandis, VCO Music Director and Director of Orchestras, College of WIliam and Mary Benny Netzer, violin soloist The William and Mary Symphony joins the Virginia Chamber Orchestra to perform Dvorak\'s cheerful Symphony No. 8, inspired by Bohemian folk tunes. Violinist Benny Netzer, winner of the Symphony\'s Concerto Competition, will be featured as soloist with the combined orchestras in the Allegro moderato from Wieniawski\'s popular and romantic Violin Concerto in D minor. The VCO will perform Quiet City by the beloved American composer Aaron Copland. Following their first international tour to Italy and Sicily in 2002, the William and Mary Symphony has performed in Paris and at the Kennedy Center\'s Terrace Theater.
